Does this sound like a telemarketing position or am I the victim of bait & switch?
I was offered and accepted an internship as a marketing coordinator intern with the following job description. However, now I know it's really telemarketing with a goal of cold calling 75 companies per 6 hour day. I feel like this doesn't match the description at all. Am I wrong?1. Gain Knowledge of Company Profile and service capabilities Offerings.2. Market Research by region, industry, commodities, etc.3. Gain Knowledge of Branch Network for proper action plan implementation.4. Develop and implement a sales action plan to acquire new business by region, industry, commodity, etc.5. Act as a liaison between Branch network and Sales telemarketing interns. .6. Supervise Sales Telemarketing interns as they follow action plans.7. Monitor and report KPI's metrics to CEO and SVP pertaining to the successful implementation of marketing plan.
How to put complain about the telemarketing calls?
Hi All,From last 6 months I am getting a call from barclays for credit cards dues of some person .I telling them from last 6 months this is not a number of respective person,kindly do not call on this no.They keep calling me for the same.I just want to put the complain about them kindly provide me the link whare I can put compalin about them.
I am being harassed by a scam telemarketing agency...?
I get called non stop all day by a phone number which has been undisputedly marked as a scam telemarketing ploy... if you don't answer they keep calling... if you do answer they still keep calling... they just don't let up. Is there any legal action that can be taken against them to make them stop. Idle threats don't seem to do anything.
Should telemarketing be banned?
i think it should. im fed up of having people call me, mispronounce my name, talk in an inane voice trying to sound professional but really just end up sounding stupid , offer me some crap i dont want and dont need and then act offended when i tell em to sod off. my view is if its a good product you dont need to advertise it ppl will talk in the pub or wherever n itl sell that way. i think all telemarketing should be banned for being intrusive and harmfull to peoples sanity. whos with me??im english, i think it should be illegal to advertise ANY service orally on the phone, unless its charity. letters r fine you can recycle em but having to listen to some sales slimeball going on is just too much for me.

ha, ha, ha, ha, oh, man these are great thanks, all 'best answers" .But what about " lonely people or people who are watching a moth crawl up a curtain, it gives them somethng to do.Did anyone get the one about the water filters and if you bought them you had a " real good chance" of winning a Caddy. Guess they will have to change that now to a Ford.bet ATT is in on it so they could push the 'block' and caller id Liberal AK, this has nohing to do with national security and the NSA, they will still be able to do what they want to do, no matter what, unless Nancy gets in the middle of them. But the question is sorta on the " light" side. i don't think anyone is going to want that , but you know even though the gentleman stated he normally had someone from India call him, it did feed some people. I think many were in Tennessee. But no this is not about the NSA. I don't think, unless you have some super equipment, you can put them on the 'don not call list" . Ha, ha.edit " you CAN'T put them on the " do not call list" .
How do I stop telemarketing calls from charitable organizations?
I've added my number to the on the National Do Not Call Registry, but unfortunately this doesn't apply to charitable organizations. There is an organization the Cancer Research Fund that calls me literally every day and I just can't get them to stop even though I've asked them not to, and even though I have caller ID and usually don't even pick up the phone for them.Any suggestions?
I called to be on the "Do Not Call List" but I'm still getting obnoxious telemarketing calls?
I put myself on a free Do Not Call list several months ago. Still, I am getting these telemarketing calls at ALL hours of the day night. I normally click my phone on and off without listening 1800 numbers on caller id . Just now, at 9am I get another call, but they are calling for someone who doesn't live here I suppose they reuse numbers . What EXACTLY can I do about this? If I don't pick up they leave a long, automated message. Please help
Automotive Warranty Solutions- telemarketing scam?
I'm sure many of you have received this call. It's from a 909 number. I've received it at work, at home and now on my cell phone. I'm guessing they are dialing every number on the planet. It's from a company called Automotive Warranty Solutions. I've looked them up and from what I can tell it's a scam. They scam money out of naive people and then never refund their money. This company has been around since 2005. WHY HAVE THEY NOT BEEN STOPPED? Isn't it illegal to call number after number after number using an automated message? When will the authorities step in?
